Gina Caribe

Good Morning to you all..  Today I am showcasing my image from MoonFlower Digi Stamps.  Her name is Gina Caribe and the newest creation by Andreia Silva.  She is a wonderful artist and I hope you will hop over to her site and check out the images she has for sale.  Her is the link

I colored her with copics and mounted her on three different colors of pink.  The pale background is done with eye shadow and I love the soft look it gives.  I got two different packages of colors at the dollar store and you really can't get anything cheaper then that.  I love the colors I got and will keep my eye our for more they are so fun to use.  The flowers are from Michaels and are  recollections I believe.  The die cut (leaves) are from spellbinders.  You can see much of them but they are very delicate and very pretty.  I hope you like my card and will leave me a comment as I do read them all.  So till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Dalmatian Cuddle

Well hello again.  So happy you came back to see my creations.  Today is inspiration day for me at Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps blog.  This pretty little lady is call Dalmatian Cuddle.  When I printed the images for the month I printed all of them so I colored them all but this one turned out so cute that I decided to use it on the kraft paper anyway.  The Challenge for us is "Anything Goes" so it fits and that is what matters.  I really like how she turned out.  Unfortunately at this time the image is not available.  I colored this image with prisma colored pencils.  The butterflies are a Stamp-n up die cut and one I use a great deal.  The pearls are from Michaels.  I dol like how this one turned out.

You can find our Challenge blog to play along with this months theme of "Use Kraft Paper"  here:  So come on down and join us in the fun.  We also have a facebook page to play along with challenges as well. And that address is here:   I sure hope to see you all there.

Tea Cup Girl

Good Morning all well maybe I should say good afternoon.  I am running behind today for some reason and wanted to get this posted this morning but as you see it is now after noon and almost 3 PM.

I did this card with the image with blue and pink hair.  I started out just playing with this one to see how the eye shadow would work for the bottom of this card.  But I like how she turned out.  A different look for me.  I normally do normal hair and cup but wanted to try to go outside my comfort zone and so this is the result.  I think this one maybe the one for my sisters birthday this month just need to pop in the Happy Birthday and off it goes.

I hope you like it.  I know I haven't posted in my blog for a while but hoping it gets easier here at home and not so busy that I can't get to the blog.  Enjoy your day and Happy Crafting.

This is a Ching-Chou Kuik image.

Exotic Beauty

Well hello everyone.  Today I am going to inspire you with this beautiful image.  She is from Moonflower Digital Images and you can find her at the store here:  The artist Andreia Silva. is a wonderful artist.  I am sure you will love what you see at the store and will want them all, I know that is what I wanted when I went there.  I really need to be much richer so I can buy what I want!  But that isn't to be so I will do what I can when I can like most folks.

I colored this beauty with copics and love the way she turned out.  I am taking coloring classes from Kit and Clowder and have learned so much and love the way her hair turned out.  Braids are hard for me to do but I like this one.  I will be coloring this image more often for just practice.  I used a dark pink base and then some floral paper from my stash that has some of the same dark pink in it.  I matted the image on more dark pink to make her stand out and then cut a Heart with my fiskars punch.  The sentiment is just a small stamp I have and used a 1 inch circle punch to cut that.  I wanted to keep this one fairly simple so the image would be the focal point of the card.
I do hope you like her as much as I do!

MoonFlower Stamps has a facebook page too so I hope you will come down and like us and join the fun there.  Here is the address for that to make it easy for you to find.

So everyone till next Happy Crafting to you all.

Autumns Here Inspiration

Good Morning everyone.  First thing I want to say is the card makes me "Happy".  I think it is the colors and that image is spectacular.  I love Fairy's and this one is no exception. This is my inspirational card for you for today and I hope she makes you at least smile and brightens your day.   She can be found at the Esty shop for Ching-Chou Kuik Fantasy Digital Shop here:  Ching_Chou is a wonderful artist and I love to color her images and I know if you love to color you will love her images as well.

I colored this with my copics (favorite medium) and the theme for us this week is heat or dry embossing and I chose to do the dry embossing.  The yellow layer is embossed with one larger embossing folder from Cuddlebug and the orange one is with a different folder from cuddlebug.  I framed each layer in black to make it more outstanding.  The green ribbon is grosgrain and was an after thought.  I always lay my card out before I glue things together and it just needed something more to go on so I rummaged through my ribbon box and found this beautiful ribbon that matched the base care so perfectly it said "use me".  So I did. LOL  I do have my moments when a card just seems to talk to me and if you have been card making for long you will understand that.

I would like to invite you all to follow us on Facebook as well as the challenge blog.  The Challenge blog site is here: and the Facebook site is here: Please come on by and play along with us to win some wonderful images!

So till next week I hope you all have a wonderful week and Happy Crafting to you all!

Now onto my card!

Just look at this beautiful image.   Is she not just gorgeous!!.  I love the way she turned out.  She was colored with copics and mounted on dark pink card stock of the base card then I found some glitter paper shade lighter and used that on top of that.  I used a glitter pen for the strings but it doesn't show in the photo unfortunately.  The gems are from my stash as is the ribbon.  I made the ribbon bow with a bow maker that my Hubby made me.  I love it as it makes perfect bows every time.

So till next time

Light of Hope

Oh good morning to you.  I hope your all having a good day.  It is beautiful here in Florida.  My card today is called Light of hope and it is "Use two different ribbons.  I have used an aqua and a white ribbon together.  and wrapped it around the image.

I colored this one with prisma colored pencils on printer paper and backed it with a piece of card stock and the aqua paper behind it corrugated paper that I found in my stash and not sure where it came from.  It was the perfect color for my card.  The background paper is some from my pack of Reflections.  I am not a real fan of the chevron pattern but this one Is perfect for this card.  The gems are from Want to Scrap and just add the perfect accent to the card.  I do hope you like my card and will leave me a comment.

Good morning to you all.  Today is my day for inspiration for the new challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik and the theme is Love!  My image is called Love and you can find her here.:  Ching-Chou is a fantastic artist and has these wonderful images to use.  I colored her with my primsa colored pencils and love the image.  I haven't used my prisma pencils for a long while but some of the girls on the Design team do use them a lot so I thought I would pull mine out and try again.  I do like how it turned out.  It is pretty simple but the image is the center of this card so I wanted to keep it that way as well.  The ribbon, doily and the hearts are the only embellishments.

I do hope you will come down to the challenge and play along.  here is the address for the challenge to make it easy for you to find.

We also have a facebook challenge as well and you can play along with that as well if you want to.  Here is the address for that too if you choose to play. :  I do hope to see some of you there as well.
