In honor of Imagine That! Digis by Kris' 2nd Anniversary, we invite you all to a special "Blog Train of Freebies"!!  Kris has "hopped on board" with Pixel Scrapper this month and made up 10 mini-kits that are perfect for digi-scrapping, or printing and using for cards & other paper crafts in a beautiful "Winter Arabesque" theme.  Hop on board to collect them all and be inspired by our Design Team and if you are a member at Pixel Scrapper (it's free!) you can grab all of their mini kits as well :)

All you have to do is hop on the train at our challenge blog and go from blog to blog picking up (downloading) the mini kits - that's it!   Please leave each of the Design team some love to let them know you were there.

If you started here you need to go back to the beginning to get all the mini Kits but if you came from Edwina's blog then your on the right track.  I used the Bunting/Lace/Borders Kit on my cards  You can get your kit by clicking on the download button and saving to you your computer.

Here is one of my cards using the images from the kits. The mouse is a new image from Kris and I decided that with Valentines day coming I would make a card and incorporate the kit with the new image.  My background paper is from my stash but I think you can get digital valentine paper from Kris as well.  The banner and the flower are from two different kits.  The sentiment is from the Mouse kit.  I think he is just so adorable I had to use him right away.  I sure hope you like him.
I also made one using some of the other embellishments in the other kits as well and here is one of them.  My butterfly is dementional with pop ups and two butterflies a smaller one on top.  I added glitter to the butterfly as well  This one is the frame kit and I cut the frame out and then cut the card front to match and I put the sentiment inside.  I love the way this one turned out.  I didn't want to take away from the kit so I left this one fairly plain.
These kits are very versatile and can be used in Scrapbooking as well as card making.  We would love to see what you make with your kits once you have them so if you want you can upload them from most of the blogs here in the Link up

From here you need to go to Silvi's blog here:  If you do all the blogs you should have 10 kits to use in your scrapbooking or however you choose to use them.  Enjoy them they are fun.

Here is the list for the hop if you get lost you can find your way from here.

Red Panda

Good morning to each and everyone of you.  It is a glorious day here in Sunny Florida.
My post for today is  Red Panda. She is drawn by Ching-Chou Kuik and her shop is here:
This link will take you directly to this image then from there you can explore the rest of the images.  They are all so beautiful and I am so lucky to be on her design team.  I love to color and love her images so take a few minutes when your done here and go check out her store you won't be sorry.
She is a gorgeous image to color.  I have to admit though the background took me longer to do then coloring the actual image.  As you can probably figure out that backgrounds are new to me.  I have a friend that is helping me and it is helping but to do the actual thing with out someone leaning over my shoulder is harder then it looks.  I do however love the  way she turned out.  I colored her with copics and the added her to the black matting and then to the craft paper I added a ribbon on the diagonal for some interest.  The whole thing is mounted on a dark brown card stock.  I did pop the image up with foam dots.  I added the flowers from petaloo and some flourishes from a spellbinders die.
I hope you like my card as much as I do and will leave me some love.  Thanks so much for coming to view my blog.  I would love it if you all would become followers of mine.  I do read each and every comment that you all make.  I hope you will all have a fun-tastic day!!

Hi Everyone I am posting my Steampunk girl today.  I won her on facebook with Lacy Sunshine.  Isn't she just the most adorable Steampunk image that you have seen in along time.  She was fun to color as well.  I did color her with my copics and cut her out with a new circle die cut that I also won.  Guess I have gotten pretty lucky lately.  The gears were cut from holographic paper and the die cut is spellbinder.  I didn't add any other embellishments to this card cause i wanted to keep it simple. I inked red around the outside of the circle to add some color.

I am entering this into a steampunk challenge at Come and get it Challenges here
And into the Through the Craft room door anything goes Challenge here:
Happy Crafting all.

Butterfly Effie

Well good morning to you all!!  My post for today is Butterfly Effie from Sassy Studios.  Isn't she just beautiful?  I love butterflies so this image is right up my ally.  You can find here here:  Sassy Studios has some really awesome images to choose from.  This card is for my DT position on Just Inspirational Challenges here:

This week our Theme is Sparkle.  So for my sparkle I have added glitter glue to all the butterflies and the flower is from purple glitter paper.  I even added glitter to the butterflies in the image but unfortunately it doesn't show well in the photo but in person it is beautiful so you will have to take my word on that one.  I colored her with my copics and added her to a scarp piece of paper that was the most colorful in my stash.  The background card is just regular card stock.  The gem in the center of the beautiful flower that was die cut from my new flower die cut that I got from Santa.  I encourage all of you to make a card and come down to Just Inspirational Challenges and play along with us.

I hope you like my card and will leave me some love.  Happy Crafting to you all!!

My Giraffe Friend

Good morning to you all.  Today I am posting for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge "Embossing" (Dry West Paste, ect).  I hope that you will all come down and play along with us.  I embossed the background paper with a new folder that I won in a blog hop.  I applied the ink pad directly to the folder to add the color.  The sweet Giraffe is a new stamp from Avery. Here is the address for Avery  They have a lot of great products so I hope you will go check them out.   It has the scarf and also the clouds and the glasses with it.  The sentiment is also in the set.  I cut the bottom fence with a fiskars punch.  I used a piece of the background paper to back the sentiment.   I hope you like my card.  You can find Tuesday Throwdown Challenge here: so I hope that you will come play.
Happy Crafting to you all.

Hi Deer

Good Morning to you all.  Today I am posting this for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps.  She is a new Artist to me and I have been asked to be on her Design Team and this will be my second card for her Site.  She is a fantastic Artist and I do so encourage you to go check her out here:        I colored here with copics.  This is the second try, I just could not get her hair the way I wanted it and pen had a leak and dripped on her head so I had to scrap that image.  I started over and this one is the one I ended up with.  I made a mask and used my chalks to do the back ground and I learned that from a friend on Facebook.  She is very talented as well.
It back ground paper is from Heartfelt Creations and the flourishes are from a cut from my Cricut.  The gems are some that I bought last year at the expo.
I hope you will come down to our challenge site here:  and join in the fun.  Ching-Chou gave away a freebie this month on Facebook so everyone could play along and I hope you got it.  We all used the same image for the monthly challenge and every card is so very different.  It is quite a site to be able to see all the different styles.  You can join her on Facebook as well and enter into the challenges she does on there too.
I hope you like my card and hope you will come join us in our new adventure.
Happy Crafting all.

The Christmas Hat

Good after noon to you all.  My posting for today is a Mixed Media that I did on Canvas.  I have done a few others but not to the extent that I did on this one.  I won't go into every detail or I will be here for hours.  The background is done with stencils and paste then the colors added are alcohol inks for color.  Then I added the flowers to it and the flourishes and the small flowers for color.  I am entering this into the Challenge anything goes at Sparkle and Glitter by Rick St Dennis here:  Why not come down and play along with us.  He has some wonderful prizes to be had if you win.  It is a lot of fun to enter challenges so give it a try.

Valentine Enchantress

Good Morning to you all.  Today I am showing you the Lovely Valentine Enchantress by Lacy Sunshine Stamps.  If you want her or any of the other stunning Enchantress's you can fine them here:
Let me tell you Heather is an extremely talented artist.  Our theme for Just Inspirational Challenges this week is Lacy and Window card.  I sat for a few minutes thinking about how to make this happen and the thoughts I had are not even close to what actually happened.  I do love this card however and love the way it turned out.  I had to really hunt thro my lace drawer to come up with pre gathered lace as this is the only piece I could find.

Ok on to the card,  I am posting this for the Challenge week two of Just Inspirational Challenges.  I have colored her with my copics and she is mounted on some valentine card stock that I have had for the past year.  I believe it is Recollections brand.  I cut the whole in the front for a window with an oval die and added the ribbon with hot glue.  I decided I didn't like the way the inside of the oval looked unfinished so I cut another piece of dp and put it on the back that is why I am showing the inside to you.  The bling on the outside is just flowers cuts from fiskar and EK punches. I got the gems from the Expo last year.  The flourish is cut with my cricut.  I really like this card and may make more like it for Valentines and for my grand daughter.  She does love getting cards in the mail.  I will have to find something appropriate for my grand son as well.
SO I hope you will come down and play along with us at Just Inspirational Challenges this week with our Theme of LACY AND WINDOW CARD.  It is a good time to start on the next set of cards for the next holiday.  Here is the address for the challenge so you can come play along.

Well today I am posting for the Design Team at Tuesday Throwdown.  My image is from Diane's Daydream and I just love it.  Our theme this week is "your favorite embellishment.  Well as you can probably tell mine is Flowers.  I spend lots of time making flowers as well.  I made these as I did the card though as I wanted them to go along with the daisy theme I chose.  I colored the daisy in copics and the flowers were all inked with Ranger distress inks.  The gems are from the Scrapbook expo last year.  I bought a ton of them so as not to run out this time.  I embossed the background with a leaf embossing folder.  I love the look of this card and hope you do as well.  Come on down and play along.  You get to use your favorite embellishments what could be better then that.  Tuesday Throwdown addy is here: And the image from Diane's Daydream is here:
I hope you will come join the fun at Tuesday Throwdown this week.  Happy Crafting to you all.

Hello everyone I am posting my latest card.  It took me a while to color and make into a card.  She is a Ching-Chou Kuik  image.  I won her and 4 others in a challenge she does.  She absolutely draws the most beautiful images.  The faces are just perfect!.  I used my copics to color her.  I am taking hair and skin coloring class from Kit and Clowder and it has certainly made a world of difference in my coloring.  My passion is coloring and I do it at least 5 days a week. .  I am not sure where the green background paper came from but it is perfect with her eyes.  The gem flourish is some that I bought at the last scrapbook expo.   I wanted to keep it simple so the image stands out as it should.  Here is the web address for her store:  I urge you to go check out her images.  So till then Happy Crafting!!

Good morning to you all.  Today I am posting for Just Inspirational Challenges.  My little lady is called Snowflakes and she is from the company Milk Coffee here:  She is a sweet thing isn't she?  This is the last Christmas card I made this year.  I managed to send them all out as I made them however this one will be put up for next Christmas as it is to late to send any more.  I colored her with my copics and fussy cut her out so i could put her in the middle of my digital back ground paper.  I added the holographic snowflakes for bling.  Then I just stamped the sentiment an added it.  I put some Viva white paint on the snow and her boots too.  I hope you like my little sweet girl.  Come on down to Just Inspirational Challenges and play along with us this week.  Our Theme is Christmas so any card you have made for Christmas is welcome.  The address for Just Inspirational Challenges is here:

And I want to wish all my followers a very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year as well.  I hope to see you around Blog land more often this next year.
Be sure to write down all your New Years Resolutions or you maybe like me and forget what they were.  LOL

From our "Horse" to your Horse

Good afternoon to you all.  So you all can feel bad with me it is cold here in Florida.  I am sitting here with jeans and fleece shirt on.  It was 51 degrees when I got up this am.  It is sunny now and whole 63 degrees and it is 2 in the afternoon, which tells me it is gonna stay cool today.  Ok enough complaining it is still Paradise here.
This is an Image from Imagine That by Kris and I have a friend who is a horse lover so this is a perfect Christmas card for her.  She has a horse about the same color as this one from what I saw in her photos.  I colored it with copics and cut it out to mount it on an embossed snowflake background paper.  I wanted it pretty simple to highlight the horse itself.  You can play along with Kris at Imagine that with any of her images now in a new challenge that she has started just recently.  So now you have two ways to win on Imagine That.  Here is the addy for her site.  I would love to see all of you come play along.  We also have progressive challenge as well.  So hop on over and check out the site.  Hope to see you all there.  Happy Crafting and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL.
