Inspirational Robin

Hi everyone.  I wanted to post this beautiful image by Imagine That by Kris Images.

I love the image as it reminds me of spring and the verse is perfect.  You can get this image and many more from the store at Imagine That here:  If you have not been to her store yet I really urge you to go as she has some fantastic images there.  Fathers day is coming and she has some sweet images for that and you get the line drawing the precolored drawing and the sentiments all foe one low price.  In some of the sets you will even find some papers as well.  She does have some sets of just papers and they are all great papers.  I like digital papers because if I need something I can usually find it in my digital paper collection and don't have to run to the store to get more paper.  Believe me I have tons of paper but somehow sometimes Not the right piece for the card I am working on so the digital ones really help me in so many ways.

I colored my image with copics (of course is there anything else?)  I mounted it to a red card base with a black under layer that I punched the border with a fiskars punch for some bling   I also added a double loop bow to it as well.  The black gems just seemed like they belonged there and also the black gems in the center of the flowers.  All in all a pretty plain card but I think pretty elegant as well.

I do hope you will come down and join us at our progressive monthly challenge at Imagine That by Kris and the address for that is here:  For all that don't know what a progressive challenge is I will explain.  You normally buy the image the first month then as long as you use that image to enter into that challenge for that month you will receive the next month image free.  It is a good way to build your digital image collection.  That is how I got started with the digital images and have so many now.  So come on down and try it out,  I bet you will be surprised at how much you like it.

So till next time I hope you will leave me a comment on what you think and Happy Crafting to you all.

Antionette Dollie

Good day to you all!  Today is my day to post the inspirational card for you.  She is called Antoinette Dollie and you can get her at the Esty shop for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps here:  There are a lot of  new images in the shop so you should pop in and see for yourself.

I colored Antionette with copics and then I did the background with pan pastels.  I like the way it looks with the back ground done.  I made some flowers from a couple of Fiskar punches and put some gems in the centers.  The leaves are a spellbinder die cut and the gems are from want to scrap.  I embossed the pink background with a cuttlebug embossing folder.  The base card is just a white card stock.  The last thing I added was a gold butterfly!

I hope that you will come play along with us at Ching_Chou Kuik Stamps blog here: Our monthly theme is "Lovely Lace" for this month and I would invite you to play along with us.

So for now I will say Happy Crafting and see you next week.

Carnation Fairy

Hey everyone!!

How is everyone today?  Well I hope.  My project today is from Ching-Chou Kuik and her name is Carnation Fairy.  She is so beautiful, I love the way she turned out.  I colored her with Copics and added a glitter pen on her wings to make them stand out. I  used  pan pastels for the back ground.  I only do light colors as I am a bit intimated by dark colors yet.   I used the image to make a mixed media project instead of a card.

I covered the canvas with gesso and then cut the canvas in a star configuration  rolling it and using hot glue to hold it down.  I then used some red and pink embossing powder to add some color and the metal flower for bling.  I used light green gems too.  I added some pink bling around the image for bling as well.  The background paper is by reflections and a very pretty plaid.  I do hope you like my project and will leave me some love.  I do enjoy doing mixed media and have the thank the lady on Facebook for this idea.

You can find this image here at the Ching-Chou Kuik Esty store here:  And I do hope you will come play in the Monthly Challenge with the theme of "Lovely Lace"here:

I do hope you will leave me some love for my beautiful project.

Happy Crafting all!

PPinky dolls

Good afternoon all you crafters out there!  Today I am posting this sweet image by PPinkyDolls for the Freebie Progressive Challenge at The Outlawz!  The Outlawz have different challenges every day of the week so you can do as many or as few of them as you want.  It is a great site to be on.  Here is the addy for you to go check it out.:  The tag for this challenge is PF06.

I colored her in copics and mounted her with foam dots to give some height to her.  I added the ribbon from my stash and cut the edge of the card (as it was cut wrong) to save the card base.  I think the black compliments the image and makes it more outstanding.  The sentiment is just one I had on the computer but she looks like she is missing someone.  That is it for me for today so Happy Crafting to you all.

Ornage Fushia

Hey everyone!
I am posting today with the image Fushia from Imagine That by Kris.  I just love flowers and this is on of my favorite to color.  I have done it in a few different colors although this isn't a traditional color but I like it anyway.

This set has the colored image and the lined image and this one was the lined image as I do love to color.
I used my copics to color this image and the humming bird. My card is a hinged card and I did some faux layering on this one.

I popped the first layer up with foam tape and the second layer has an embossed layer of velum on it and it is also popped up with foam tape to give it dimension.    I attached the velum with glue dots and put the gems on to cover the glue dots.  The image is glued right to the velum paper.  My bird is also popped up with foam dots.

We have a progressive challenge over at Imagine That and I would like to invite you to come play along.  Here is the web address for the Challenge:  Why not take a look at all the great image sets that Kris has to offer while your there for the challenge.

Hope to see you all there.

Happy Crafting to you all!

My Pansies

                                                          IMAGINE THAT BY KRIS

Well good morning to you all.  I said I would post this one as soon as I was done posting the last one.  I did want to give it a couple of days in between as not to over whelm you with to many posts as one time.  So I am giving this a week from the last one.  Pansies are one of my favorite flowers and was my fathers favorite as well.  I do hope I did them justice when I colored them.  I have since colored several of the images and in different colors too.  They make wonderful Mothers day and all occasion cards.  You could use them for anything actually as I have done.  I made a box of them one for all the occasions I could think of to sell and all different colors.  I do love how this turned out and you can find this image at Imagine That by Kris here:  You get line drawings and also the colored image if you don't want to color or don't color at all just stamp.  Kris does a fantastic job with the colored images as well and they all have sentiments with them.  All of the images Kris draws have been in sets so you get everything you need to do a card.

This is one of the images for the Progressive Challenge for the month of May and if you want to join in you can go purchase this image and play along and then next months image is free to you.  I am sure most of you know how a progressive challenge works.  I have gotten so many great images doing the progressive challenges and that has built my collection of images to quite a few.  It is actually how I got hooked on digital images.
I colored this with copics and did some layering with it.  The background paper is a swirl paper that I got from a friend and love it.   The plaid is from her as well  I added the prettylittle bow and the flower gems for bling.  Oh  and the ribbon at the bottom of the image too.
I hope you will come play along with us at the Challenge this month and for months to come.  Hop on over when your done here and pick up your image and play along.  Hope to see you there so till then Happy Crafting.

Ballerina In Yellow

Good Morning to all you wonderful crafters!

Today my post is for Imagine That by Kris.  She is a beautiful ballerina and I made this one for my grand daughter who is 4 and taking Ballerina classes.  She loves to get cards and this one fits so well.  Her outfit she tells me is Pink but she likes the color yellow as well so I incorporated both colors in this card.  I really love how it turned out as I wasn't sure how the two colors would look together but will certainly use them together more often now.

You can find this image at the store that Kris has here:  She normally has the outline and a colored image for those who don't like to color and also sentiments.  I put the sentiment on the inside this time.  I made the card pretty plain as my grand daughter likes to take off the bling and embellishments to keep in a small box I made her so I don't normally put on much when I make them for her.  Here is a peek at the inside for the sentiment.
Just plain and simple.  I colored this little beauty with my copics and used a spellbinder die to cut her out an then inked the edges.  I tied the little bow with the bow maker that my hubby made for me.
I hope you will leave me some love and let me know what you think of this little beauty.  Happy Crafting to you all.

So Long Yesterday

Hello everyone.  Today my post is the Inspirational Post for Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge for the month of May.  Our theme is Lovely Lace.  I chose this beautiful image of "So Long Yesterday" for my card of the month.  I truly love this beautiful image.  I love butterflies and this has several in it.  I colored it with Copics and did a hinged card to mount her on.  I embossed the red of the card 3/4 at the top and 1/4 at the bottom with the middle unembossed and added the white to the center of the unembossed area.  The ribbon is some that I got for Christmas this past year from my hubby.  I added the gems and they are recollections from Michaels.  I do hope you will come down to Ching- Chou Kuik challenge here: and play along with us.   If you  choose to use a Ching-Chou Kuik image you will get two chances to win the images she gives as prizes. You don't have to use one of her images to play however so go color up an image or two and join in the fun.  Hope to see you all there.

Happy Crafting to you all.

                                                          IMAGINE THAT BY KRIS

Well Good Morning to you all.  Since it has gotten so nice outside I thought I would share my tulips with you.  These are by Imagine that by Kris.  I wanted to go bold with these as you can see by that wild color of paper that I used.  They just seem to scream it at me.  LOL  These are one of the newest images that Kris has drawn for Mothers day.  My mom passed away a long time ago so I don't do Mothers day cards anymore so I will use this as something else, but this would be perfect for Mothers Day.  This will be one of the two images that is for the Progressive Challenge over at Imagine That by Kris here: I will post the other image as soon as I get this one posted.  You could use this image for a variety of occasions.  I think it is pretty super, and I colored it with copics and did lots of layering with this one.  The gems and the butterfly brad are my only embellishments as I wanted the image to be the focal point of this card.  I did fussy cut it and that was hard around the flowers but I think it needed it.  I do hope you will all go over to the website and join in the challenge, as you probably know that if you get the image and join in the next month the image is free as long as you play each month, and what a great way to add to your digital image collection.  It is actually how I got started on my digi collection and now have hundreds of images for free.

I do hope you all have a wonderful day and will join us at Imagine That by Kris for this challenge.
Well Happy Crafting to you all!!

Sweet Koala Bear

Hi All do you love this image or what?  I think it is one of the cutest animal images I have seen in a very long time.  This is an image that I got from Imagine That by Kris.  Here is her site:  I colored it with copics.  I used some wall paper that I got a while ago for the background paper.  I added the black to make it more outstanding.  I used some parts of some cutouts for the embellishments and added some gold butterflies and some black gems too.  The sentiment is one that comes with the set of Koala bear images.  You get colored ones and one with just a line drawing.  You get a couple of sentiments as well.   My daughter loves Koala bears so I will use this one to send to her.

Happy Crafting to you all.

Well good morning to each and everyone of you!!  What a beautiful day it is here in Sunny South Florida.  My DT post for today is called "Longing" by Ching-Chou Kuik.  She is so beautiful and reminded me of summer so I chose the greens to color her in.  Of course my favorite color is green but that really had nothing to do with the choice. :)
The site address for Ching-Chou Kuik blog is

I colored her with copic and did the muted background with Pan pastels.  I am pretty new to them and am just learning but it sure is fun to do.  I suggest if you have a friend that has them give them a try before you buy them.  They are a lot of fun to use however.  One of my friends on the facebook page for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps told me about them and encouraged me to try them and I am so glad I did.  I tried to coordinate the papers with the image to give it an elegant look as she looks elegant to me.  I layered the image and then used foam dots to give it some demention then I added the bling to the right side and the gems to the corners for more bling.  I sure hope you like my card and will leave me some love to let me know you have been here.

If your not already a follower I would love for you to follow me and leave me a note to let me know you have been here to see me and I will come follow you as well.  So till next week!!!!

Happy Crafting to you all

Whoopsie Baby

Good Morning all.   My image is from Whoopsiedaisy digis.  She is just adorable.  I colored her with copics and love how she turned out.  I cute the back ground with a new spellbinders die cut and the flowers are from fiskars punches.  The swirl is also a spellbinders die cut.  The bow is my ribbon,  made with my homemade bow maker that my hubby made for me and I added a button to hide the knot.  I sure hope you like my pretty girl I know I love the way she turned out and like the new die cut that I bought!    Happy Crafting all.

Trash Can Cats

Hello all,  I  used the Trash Can Cats for this one and you can find it at Oak Pond Creations here:  I colored my cats with copics and the back ground is done with pan pastels.  I put this one together to be fairly simple to go with the sketch.  I cut the border out with a Martha Stewart punch.  I wove the ribbon through the border to match the base card and glued that to the great and blue background papers.  I added the sentiment from my stash which I have had for over a year. It is a pretty clean and simple card.     Happy Crafting all.

I would like to enter this card into the Through the craft room door challenge anything goes here.

Good evening to you all.  I am posting today with a cute little froggie from the Outlawz monthly progressive challenge.  I don't do animals often and rarely do frogs as I am not real fond of them.  But this one is only paper so figured if I wanted to get my next image I had no choice so here "she is."  I have a friend (yeah I do have a couple good ones too!) that loves frogs so this will be for her.

I colored it with copics and used my embossing folder with the tree on it and inked that with distress inks to make it stand out.  The weeds are from Stampin-up and I used the distress inks here as well.  Since I color more then stamp I don't have a lot of colors of inks just the basic ones.  These inks actually came from a garage sale so I got them.  The sentiment is from I believe TLC. but won't swear to it.     It is pretty simple because I never know what to do with animals LOL.  I hope you like my frog and will come over to the challenge here: and play along you will have to be friends with the ladies to get your image if your not already a member of the group but from then on your good to go.
