Sweet Magnolia

Good morning to you all.  Today I have am posting a card for a challenge at Magnolia-licious Challenge here: http://magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com.  I colored her with copics and mounted her onto a card that was cut from the largest Grand  Nestabilities die cut.  Then I added the strip on the side which I got at Hobby Lobby and the flower is cut from a fiskars punch.  I love to color these images and want each and everyone of them. I tried to keep this one simple as it was to be sent in the mail.  I have quite a few now and they make people smile when they get a card with these images on them.  Well this is it for me for today I have a class to teach so need to get set up.  Happy Crafting to you all.

Butterfly

Hey everyone.  Today I am just posting a pic of my card that I will be doing with my class this week.  I bought this embossing folder a while ago but couldn't find the correct image to go with it.  But when I put the butterfly on it I knew I found it.  I love the  way it looks.  It is a large butterfly but that is ok I still like it.  The smaller butterfly I have is to small so it was this or some other image and I like this die cut.  I took the cut out part of his wing to use at the top for corners.  I know my girls will love it.  I have a new girl starting this week and she is really new to card making so decided to do some simple but elegant cards.  I hope you like this one and will leave me some love.  Happy Crafting!!

Konas

Hi everyone hope your day is a beautiful one.  It is hot here in sunny South Florida but better hot then freezing cold.
Today I am posting for Tuesday Throwdown challenge
here:http://www.tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com/.  It is all about our furry friends.  I chose this adorable dog named Konas from Oak Pond here: http://www.oakpondcreations.blogspot.com.  They have some really adorable images to play with so I hope you will all go to see what is there.  I colored my image with copics and rounded the edges.  I then mounted it onto some designer paper that I found in my scrap pile.  It was the perfect fit for this card, and don't you just love it when that happens.  I used some dark brown ribbon on the side and the sentiment is one that I got on a card from Joanne's for $1.00 and the name was on another part of it and is gone so I have no idea what company it is from.  I hope you like my little doggie.  I am not all that good with coloring animals and it is a real challenge for me but I got thro it and printed him several more times to practice with.
I hope you will come down to the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown this week and play along.  We do offer some great prizes for your creations if you win.   Playing is so much fun and you meet others who love to do the same.  Each team member does a card to inspire you and they are all unique to each team member so you get lots of inspiration to do your own card.  Hope to see you there.  Happy  Crafting and good luck.

I am a guest designer for her and she generously gives us images to use for the site.   She has some amazing images for you to use.  If you go here: http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/ you can check out her store.  She does sets so you get colored images and line images sometimes she gives papers and you get sentiments to go along with it.  I just love this image it is called Queens Lace and I think it is just beautiful.  I printed this one paper that has a lavender swirl in it already and this picture sure doesn't do it justice as it is so beautiful.  (LOL even if I say so myself.)  I used copics to color this and mounted it on a die cut that I truly love.  I do use it a lot.  I didn't add any bling as I felt that the image was enough and wanted it to be the center of attention.  I hope you will go check out the images by Kris.  She is a very talented lady.  Thank you all for stopping by to see my latest creations.  There will be lots more to follow as well so if your interested you can become a follower and you will see when I post more cards.  Thanks for looking and hope to see you back someday!!

My Little Blue Fairy

Hello all you sweet crafters.  Today I am posting for a challenge at TSC  here:  http://thestampingchef.com   anything goes.  This is an adorable image by them.  I colored her with copics and mounted her on a card cut with a spellbinders grand caliber die.  the background paper is just teal card stock and each of the corners was notched with a hole punch.  The image side was punched with a fiskars border punch.  The bling is from Want to scrap.  I added the gems to her wings from the tail of the bling.  I hope you like my little Blue Fairy.  I really do like the way she turned out.  Happy Crafting all.

Doplhin Fun

Good morning all.  Today is the  first of August and another month for a new progressive challenge at "Imagine That by Kris"  This is the set that is the freebie (if you played last month) and if you didn't play and want to you can go to the site here: http://imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com/ and buy this one to get into the progressive challenge with us.  We have lots of fun and everone who plays wins the set for the next challenge.  Great way to build your digi set files.  They are great fun to play with and if you haven't seen the sets you must go check them out!  You get the colored and line drawings plus sentiments and sometimes even papers to go with it.  Everything is very inexpensive and beautiful.  I really encourage everyone to go take a peek at them.  Now on to my card.  I colored the dolphins and the water with copics.  I used stickles on the water to make it look more real but don't think it shows well in the photo.  the image was cut with a spellbinders die and the waves are cut with the silhouette.  The back ground paper is a digital paper but now sure where it came from.  Love the sentiment and this is one that comes with the set of dolphins.  I really hope you will all come play along.  Happy Crafting to you all!!

Pretty Lady

Well good afternoon all you wonderful crafters.  I am posting this pretty lady for all to see.  She is an image drawn by Fernanda Oravec.  She draws them and gives them to her friends.  She has given out a few now and this is my favorite so far.  I am taking a coloring class with Kit and Clowder of of Facebook and I used her for one of the practice images.  I still have a long way to go but trust me I have improved a lot.  I just wanted to show you all and invite you to come over to Kit and Clowder and join in the classes if you want to improve your coloring.  Alyce is an amazing teacher and the classes are forever and no time limit to doing them.  I like that cause I can take my time and get it right instead of an 8 hour class and trying to learn it all.  NOT possible to do that.  I hope you like my "Pretty Lady"  Leave me some love and let me know what you think of her.  Thanks for coming to my blog, I appreciate it. Happy Crafting.

Have a Bloomi-ful day

Good morning to all you crafters out there.  Today my post is for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge "Homemade flowers"  I colored these pretty flowers with my copics and the cut into each of the pedals about half way so I could shape then as I wanted then.   I colored the 3 sets of light colored leaves with copics and put them on the card then the two dark sets of leaves I cut with a stampin-up die cut.  The butterflies are also a stampin-up die cut that cuts and embosses at the same time.  I sprayed the butterflies with a glitter spray that was a gift from a friend.  The card was cut with from the spellbinders large labels die.  The sentiment is part of another set of digi's by doodle pantry.  I decided I didn't want to add an image to this just a lot of flowers.  I hope you will all come down to Tuesday Throwdown and play along with us here: http://www.tuesdaythrowdown.blogspot.com/.  Just make some pretty homemade flowers and make a card.  Easy peasy right ?  It sure is fun and satisfying to see something you make come to life.  I love to make flowers of all kinds.  I hope you will come join the fun.  Happy Crafting all.

My Fuschia Flower

Good morning to you all.  Can't you just smell the fragrance of this flower?  It is a fuschia and very fragrant.  I love this image along with the humming birds.  Flowers are my favorite and humming birds were my sisters favorite.  So this image is special to me.  I colored it with Copics.  I added a second bird to the card and two butterflies from a die cut that is from Stampin- up.  It cuts and embosses them at the same time.  I love this die cut.  I used some gems to make a tail off the butterflies that I got at the expo this yr.  The sentiment comes with the set of images from Imagine that by Kris. You can go to her site and get this image and many many  more wonderful sets. Her site is here: http://www.imaginethatdigistamp.com, and I hope you will hop over and check out her site.  She is extremely talented and has wonderful images for sale.  Happy Crafting to you all.
