From our "Horse" to your Horse

Good afternoon to you all.  So you all can feel bad with me it is cold here in Florida.  I am sitting here with jeans and fleece shirt on.  It was 51 degrees when I got up this am.  It is sunny now and whole 63 degrees and it is 2 in the afternoon, which tells me it is gonna stay cool today.  Ok enough complaining it is still Paradise here.
This is an Image from Imagine That by Kris and I have a friend who is a horse lover so this is a perfect Christmas card for her.  She has a horse about the same color as this one from what I saw in her photos.  I colored it with copics and cut it out to mount it on an embossed snowflake background paper.  I wanted it pretty simple to highlight the horse itself.  You can play along with Kris at Imagine that with any of her images now in a new challenge that she has started just recently.  So now you have two ways to win on Imagine That.  Here is the addy for her site.  I would love to see all of you come play along.  We also have progressive challenge as well.  So hop on over and check out the site.  Hope to see you all there.  Happy Crafting and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL.

Mice skating

Hey all you mice lovers out there check out these cards.  What a great image to make Christmas cards from.  I made two different cards from just one image.  The bottom one is the precolored one and the one on top is one I colored with copics and cut it out so more of the background embossing would show.  I added red glitter glue to the top one in the center of the snowflakes.  The sentiments come with the images at Imagine That by Kris as well.  Sometimes she adds papers too.  The second one the background stripe paper is from Martha Stewart and the ribbon is from my stash.  I used a fiskars corner punch to do each of the corners of the card and the papers.  I think they both make a great Christmas card.  Hopefully these will be the last of the ones I need for my friends and family.  I am ready to go on to another holiday.
I hope you will check out the challenges at Imagine That we have two now, the monthly progressive and the use any digi from Kris. Here is the blog address for her site. you can come check it out we have some great inspiration from the Design Team and Kris herself.  She is a great artist.  Happy Crafting to you all.
And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well.

Snowman family with Igloo

Good afternoon,  This is another one of Kris's images from Imagine That by Kris site here:  This image is a composite of two sets of Kris's.  I love this igloo and so I decided to use it with the snowmen as well.  I love PNG images that you can add to each other.  This is the colored version of the image for both of the images.   This sure makes it easy to put a card together quickly.  I added the glitter rick rack at the top and bottom plus the cute little bow at the top.  I love the way it turned out.  I hope you will leave me some love on this darling card.
Happy Crafting to you all.

Tangled in Christmas Lights

Well now her is my Tangled she is a digi drawn by Betty B Stamps.  She is just a sassy lady with quite an attitude.  I colored her in copics and cut her out with a die cut from Stamp-in up.  The background cut is glitter paper for bling.  I added a sheet of paper that I ran through a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  It didn't give a real good impression but it is there.  I added the gems that I got from the Scrapbook Expo from this past year.  They match the colors exactly and I was very surprised at that.  I inked the edges of the image with chalk ink in the same color.   This will be my entry for the Outlawz new Freebie challenge for the month of December.  You can find the challenge here:  If you play this month you will get this image to play with and she is just perfect for a great Christmas card.  I would like to invite you all to come play.

Happy Crafting.

Cowbow and Cowgirl

Hey everyone, I am just so excited about this set of digi stamps from Imagine That by Kris.  It is a set and I colored them both wit Copic's.  I think they are just darling.  The embellishments are part of the set as well.  I added the stars but other then that all of the embellishments are part of the set.  I was going to post them separately but decided not to do that as I think they belong together.  I encourage you  to go to the site of Kris's images here: and see what wonderful images she has for you.  She does sets and you get lots for a little money.  She is also starting another Blog for challenges as well and you can find it on the main site.
So come on down and play along.  Happy Crafting.

Good morning to you all.  My post for today it my DT card for Imagine That Progressive Challenge.  If your part of the challenge this is the set you will receive for playing last month.  You can find it here: if you didn't play in November and you will need to purchase the set to get started playing along with us.  Progressive challenges are wonderful because you get a new set of images each month that you play the month before.  Great way to build your digi's.  This is one of the ways I ended up with so many wonderful digi, I played in a lot of progressive challenges when I first started 2 years ago.  So I really hope you will come down and play along with us.
I colored my cute card with Copics and mounted it on some designer paper from Martha Stewart.  The sentiment and the holly leaves are part of the set that you receive.  Kris's sets all have multiple images colored and line drawings so if you decide you need a card quickly just print the one already colored.  Easy to make great looking cards with those.  The little tree on here is also from Martha.  It is a pretty simple card to put together.  I punched opposites sides of the card and the tag with a fiskars punch to add a bit to it.  So come on down and join in the fun.  This is all for me for this challenge I need to get busy and get my other ones posted.  Have a great crafting day all.

Good Morning you all.  Come meet my sweet little guy Harry.  Isn't he just the most adorable little boy you have ever seen.  I just love this image.  I had a ball making this card.  I paper pieced the pants, shirt, shoes and his hat.  I love how it came together almost as a monochromatic card.  He was cut with a circle punch that looks like it has stitching on it fro CC Designs.  I won the set of dies and two rubber stamps on their facebook page.  I just love this punch it is great.  I colored his face and bow tie with copics.  The dp paper is from my stash and was just a small piece and fit in perfectly.  The buttons are some embellishments that I also had in my stash and I have no idea where they are from.  I don't tend to keep the packaging after I take the first one out. I guess I should but it seems to clutter up my drawers.  I sure hope you like my little guy he is from here:  They have a wonderful variety of stamps.  I hope you will check them out.
This sweet little guy is for Just Inspirational Challenges for the month of December so come join us for some wonderful prizes.  Here is the addy for you to come join in.  I sure hope to see you all there.  The theme for the month is One of the boys and your chance to make some boy cards.
Happy crafting all.

Craft Bag with Digi's

Hi everyone.  Just wanted to post my pic's of my bag that I did with Lacy Sunshine digi's on it.  I use this bag for my craft classes if I go to teach someplace other then home or if I go to a class.  I got permission from Heather to use her digi's on this bag.  I love how it turned out.  The only problem I had was deciding which of the digi's that I had to use.  I simply adore her images.  It turned out pretty well I think and I hope you like it too.  The bag is canvas and I had only one problem the inside is got a rubber coating which I didn't think about when I ironed the digi's on so it sorta melted a bit but I was able to get it open with a bit of a pull.  Not a lot of damage to the inside but can't see any from the outside.
I would like to enter this into a couple of challenges here:
Happy Crafting all.

2 Christmas tags.

I made these two tags for my great grand daughters Christmas gifts.  I love these images. They are just adorable.  They are from Imagin That by Kris and you can get them here.  This is an entire set and so cute.  These are both precolored as I am desperately trying to get all my hand made items done so they can be sent out in time to get them for Christmas.  I inked the edges of each different colors for different sisters.  I added the sentiments and the stars.  The Ribbon is from my Stash.  I will put them on there packages and I sure hope they love them.  They love to get cards in the mail and love the ones I color just for them.  I hope you like my cute tags.
Happy Crafting.
I would like to enter this into the Anything goes Challenge at Through The Craft Room Door.  here:

Snowball fight

Hi everyone,  I am posting today with a darling set of digi's from Imagin That by Kris here:  She has a lot of darling images so I hope you will go check out all she offers.  I put three of the images together to set this little scene.  I used chalks to do the background on this one.  My real first one that turned decent.  I am please with how it turned out.  The images are precolored for this one but it is ok,   I used the papers on the inside as well and put some snowflakes in there as well.  I added the 3 snowflakes on the outside too.  The swirls on the side are from, they just stick on so easy to use.  The background paper is from a small 6x6 pack.  I hope you like my card.  I am gonna use it for someone special this Christmas.
Happy Crafting everyone.

The Owls

Hi everyone.  Today I am posting my card that I made by Aurora Wings.  I am also entering it into the challenge "Anything goes"  there at Aurora Wings here:   I colored her with the Owls with my copics and I just love how it turned out.  She is such a beautiful image.  I mounted it on a brown card with a golden piece of card stock as the background paper. And mounted it on another piece of brown paper.    I wanted to go for the monochromatic look it is a new one for me.
I added the 3 gems for the only bling on the card. I wanted to keep it simple and let the image take center stage.   I hope you like this I know I do.
I hope you all have a great day.  Happy Crafting.
