Crimson Holly

Hi Everyone,  today I am posting my image from a new Artist Ching-Chou Kuik.  She is a fantastic Artist and I only have a couple of her images so far but it won't be the last that I buy.  I am entering her into the challenge at  I love how she turned out and I think next time I will do her hair pink.  I colored her with copics and the lace on the side is from my stash.  the background paper is from Reflections and the flower is also from my stash.  I wanted to keep it somewhat simple but shabby chic too.  Not sure I accomplished it but I tried.  I hope you will come down to the challenge and join in there are only a few more days to this months challenge.  Next month will be a new one.  I am saving my other stamp for that challenge so if you want to see what I do with that one you will have to come back next month to see.  If you become a follower then you will get an email with the image in it.  I hope you all love this as much as I do and leave me some love here.

I am also going to enter this one into the Anything goes challenge here:

This pretty lady is "Pepper"  and she is getting ready for her Prom...  This image is for Just Inspirational Challenges themed "Special Occasions" and the company that makes this beauty is Sassy St. Designs you could get it here:  The have many great digi images.  I colored her with copics and I had to cut her out because one of my copics decided to leak.  So I cut her out.  The doily behind her was inked with red chalk ink.  The background paper is from Recollections.  The ribbon is some I bought at Tuesday morning at Christmas a couple of years ago.  The sentiment is from a stamp set from Studio Stamps.  The stars are from the Scrapbook expo last year.  I hope you will come down and play along with us at Just Inspirational Challenges here:
We have some great prizes for who ever wins.  Just any special occasion will work.  Have fun and we will see you there.

I colored her with copics and mounted her on a brown piece of card stock then on a piece of wall paper that had some grain to it.  I really like the wall paper but it did make my card curl a bit but it is ok now.  I put the sentiment to the side and I like how it turned out.  The stars are from my stash.  Come on down and play along we have some great prizes for the winner...  Beside doing challenges are a lot of fun..

Party Time

Hey everyone this is a freebie image I got from the Outlawz party time events for this week.  We had to follow a sketch here below.  I colored the image with copics and glitter pens for bling.  I printed the paper that came with the set of images. The sentiment came with the image as well.  I had some banners in my stash which I used as well so I cut it down a bit as it was way to big and added the two flower gems to the bottom.
I hope you will come down and play along and join all the fun at The Outlawz here:  Great games and this freebie plus challenges all week long.  I hope to see you there!!  Happy crafting.

Oh my isn't this the cutest little dog you have ever seen?  Honestly I love this image.  It is by Your next Stamp and so adorable.  Have I gushed enough about the stamp?  Well ok then on to the design of the card itself.  The base card  is olive green as there is olive green in the image then I printed the orange  and the olive check an the orange check from digi papers.  I love digi papers as you can print them when you need them.  I didn't have any check papers so I found some in my papers and was so happy.  When I am making a card I get an idea in my head of how I want it to look.  (Sometimes at night when I should be sleeping as well).  My little leaves are some I had in my digi stamp collection and I just colored them to make them look like it was Autumn.  My image is also colored with copics and the sentiment is from another set of Autumn stamps.  The butterfly is a die cut from Stampin-up.  I certainly hope you like my card.  This one is for Just Inspirational Challenges for this week. You could use a cute card like this to send to a friend or someone in your family to let them know your thinking of them so why not make an Autumn card and come down and play along here:  We have some wonderful prizes to win.  I sure hope to see you all there.

Circle Card

Hey everyone  good evening tonite I am posting for a card for a challenge at the Outlawz Monday challenge tag GCC1020. You can go here and play:  The theme is Circles.  I think I have a few here.  the card is cut so there are 3 on the front which I cut two sizes for .  Then decided that I could do that on the inside as well.  So I used some pumpkins I colored and mounted them on a scalloped then the cirlce again.  Then I cut the image with a two inch circle cutter.  My flower was  cut on the cricut and shapped.  The leaves were as well.  I put the flower on the front because it looked to bare.  My sentiment is from one of the fall sets that I have and I think it fits pretty well.  I sure hope you come down and play they are having a party this week so there are lots of chance to win some amazing prizes.
I hope you will leave me some love for my card.  I am very pleased at how it turned out and hope you like it as well.  Happy Crafting to you all.  Have a great week.

Autism Awareness

Good morning.  I am posting today for Tuesday Throwdown Challenger here: for the challenge Awareness.  My image is from Bugaboo  and you can find him here:  I colored him with copics and used a new die cut for the card that a friend loaned me.  I love the way it looks.  I will add the inside at the bottom I put the hearts on as bling but didn't want to take away from the theme of the challenge.  Autism is a very real problem and I do know one family that has a beautiful little (well not so little anymore) girl that has it and she is just the sweetest person you ever want to meet.  I do hope you will come down and play along with this theme this week.  Here is the inside of my card.

Turkey girl

Hi everyone.  Today I am posting this sweet card with the image by EastWind.  She was a freebie for the progressive challenge they do on Facebook.  I colored her with copics and cut out the image with spellbinders oval die.  I inked the outside of the cut before I took it out of the die so it leaves the edges clean.  The sentiment is from a set from Imagine That by Kris.  The background paper is a piece of wall paper that I had in my stash.  The gems are from my stash as well.  I wanted to keep this one CAS to showcase the image.  Hope you like my card and will leave me some love.  Happy crafting all....

Wedding card

Hi everyone.  I just wanted to post the card that I made for my grandson's wedding.  It was fun to make and I sure hope he loves it as much as I do.  The outside is Velum that is patterned with small flowers and leaves.  The inside is the image that I got from Imagine That by Kris.  I love this image for them.  The couple has been together for along time and are perfect for each other.  I fastened it with just a small piece of ribbon.  I didn't want to use glue because it would have shown.  The brides colors are purple and I used  that color on the card.  I hope you like this one.  Happy Crafting to you all.

Texting Teen!

Wow I can't believe it is the second week of October already.  Time sure is flying by and that scares me, to much to do no time to do it in.  I've been so busy making cards it seems like the days just fly.  Well no matter we still have to do what we have to do.  So without fuller ado.  Today I am posting for Just Inspirational Challenges again.  This week our theme is "Teenagers"  I chose this image from Kenny K.  They has some awesome images to choose from, and I suggest that you go check them out when your done here.  I do hope you will stay long enough to browse a bit and leave me some love.   The Image was colored with copics and cut with my oval spellbinders die.  I almost always ink my image before I remove it from the die so you can see the outside is a bit different from the inked area.  I love the look it gives.  I also embossed this one before I took it out.  The background paper is from my stash an so old I have no clue where I got it.  The gems are from Want to Scrap and I got them at the convention this past summer.  The sentiment is from another set of digi's that I got and again been to long to tell you where it is from.  It was before I started to put my things in folders with names on them.  I know I'm bad but I do put things in folders now so I know where they come from.  I do hope you will all come down and play along with us this week.  We have some great prizes for the winners.  So Happy Crafting to you all and will see you soon.

Merry Cupcake Christmas

Hi everyone.  I am getting started on my Christmas cards and wanted to post one for you all to see.  It is a bit different but a fun one.  My image is from Imagine That by Kris and you can get this set here:  I love this image it is so much fun.  I did one in red and one in blues.  I will post that at another time.  My image is colored with copics and I mounted it on dark green and the base is dark green as well however it looks black in the photo.  I used a viva pen for my snow and love how it turned out.  I love Kris's sets as she gives the sentiments a couple of different ones with each set of digi's.  This is the uncolored one but you get a colored version as well.  The inside just has Merry Christmas on it and that is part of the set as well.  Why not hop over to Imagine That and pic up a set or two you sure won't be sorry.  She also has a progressive challenge each month and this is "Jump back in" month and you can use any image that you have from her to get back into the challenges.  Then next month you will get the new image free to play along.  You only have 4 days left of this months challenge so hurry over and get yourself an image or check the Imagine that facebook page for a freebie to use.  Hope to see you all next month in the challenge.  So enough for now have a great day and Happy Crafting.
