VooDoo Man

Today my post is for the November Progressive challenge over at The Outlawz here:  I call him the Voodoo Man.  This is a real challenge for me since I don't normally color this type of image.  The tag for this is PF12.  I used copics to color this strange fellow.  I used a spellbinders die cut to cut him out and mounted him on Purple to match his coat.  I hope you will come over to the Outlawz and join in the challenges there as they have one for each day of the week if you want to play along.  The directions are all there on the web site.  So till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Stars Dream Inspiration

Well good morning to you all.  Today is my day to give you some inspiration.  This beautiful image is called Stars Dream and you can find her here:  Our theme this month is Christmas and I hope you will come play along with us.  We also have a facebook page that you can play along with us there as well and you can find that here:

I colored this beautiful image with copics.  I tried to give the moon a glow so it was more outstanding.  I did a side cut card which I used an embossing folder from cuddlebug.  I tried to keep it pretty simple so as to let the image be the focal point.  The stars are from glitter paper and cut with my cricut.  I hope you will come play along with us at the blog.  You can find our blog here:  We would love to see your creations here so come play along with us.

Till next time happy crafting.

Fall Basket.

Hello to Fall.  Well in parts of the country it is fall but in Florida it is still fairly hot.  Beautiful evenings with Night blooming Jasmine blooming and making the air smell beautiful.  We have two bushes at the back of our house and the whole neighborhood gets the benefit from them.

This basket reminds me of Fall.  I colored it with copics and had a ball making the leaves look like fall eaves to go along with the basket and theme.  I added some glitter glue to the leaves for some bling.  The image is from "Imagine That digi's by kris" and you can find them here:  Kris is a very talented artist and she sells her images in bundles along with line drawings, colored images and sentiments.  It is a real bargain and I hope you will hop over and check them out.  This is the theme for November and is the progressive challenge.  So if you got this image by joining in the Oct.  challenge then your good to go if not you can purchase this image and get into the challenge for Nov. and get the December image for free.   I hope you will come join us in the fun at Imagine That digis by kris.

Till next time Happy Crafting.

Here is a picture of the bundle you will get when you purchase it. And yes you get all of this,  So what are you waiting for go NOW!!!  LOL

Pumpkins for Fall

Good afternoon to you all.  Well it is afternoon here in Florida anyway.  I am posting this adorable image for the Freebie Challenge at the Outlawz.  You can find that challenge and a different one for each day of the week here:  The have great challenges for everyday.  You can join one or all of them if you want to.  I have done the freebie one for a long time and have done all the others at on time or the other.  Lots of great ladies there as well.  The DT's cards are always a great inspiration as well.

I decided to try a back ground for this one but I think the image is a bit bigger then it should be.  But I like to try new things and if the go well good and if not I try again.  I didn't redo this one as I have been off line for most of this month and didn't want to miss the deadline here.  The Freebie image is one per month and it is almost the last week and I still have two other challenges to get posted.  So I figured I better just post this and try again another time.  The image is from Greda Steiner. and you can go here and find her images.

I colored this little girl with my copics and did the back ground by using my brayer and masking.  the trees are are stamp from Stamp-in  up called Lovely as a tree and my favorite stamp from them.  The clouds are a cut out from an embossing folder and popped on with foam pop dots. The leaves and butterflies are from my stash of stickers.  I hope you like my little lady and come back to visit me again.

Happy Crafting to you all.

Elephant Bath

Hi everyone.  I just wanted to post these two adorable cards for you to see.  It is the same image of course just colored differently.  I made, them for my niece's new baby girl.  She picked the bottom one of course and I will be making a candle like that one too.  I just love this image and have used it many times.  Not sure who the artist is that drew it as it is in my digi file that has no names on the images.

I colored them with copis and use scrapes of paper for the backgrounds and ribbons are  scarps too.  I hope you enjoy the cards as much as I enjoyed making them.

My Clean and Simple Leaf card

Well Good evening to you all.  Today I am posting with my CAS (clean and simple) card for The Outlawz, CAS challenge with fall colors.  These have to be the hardest cards for me to make.  I love lots of layers and embellishments.

The black swirls are from cut outs from my cricut, the leaves are from my stash and I have no idea where they are from as the packaging is gone.  The sentiment is something that I printed off my computer.  The inside has the same color paper that is behind the sentiment and then a white sheet plus I put more leaves in there as well.  So I am entering this into there challenge CAS101815.  I hope you will come over to play along, they have a different challenge for each day of the week so I am sure you will find something to play along with.  We have such fun and I have been trying to do a different one each week.  Here is the link for you to check it out. :

My Poodle Skirt

Welcome to you all.  Today I am posting this darling image for the challenge at the Outlawz challenge Paper Ala Mode and it is themed Girl Power.   Do any of you remember the poodle skirt?  I did mine was white tho with a black poodle.  I really didn't think that the black poodle would show up well more like a blob so I decided that she should be white.  I colored my image with copics and used a sentiment that I had in some stamps that my best friend gave me.    The gems are just for a bit of bling.  the background paper is some yellow green glitter paper and behind that is some golden color.  The base card is light green, as I tried to coordinate the colors in her outfit. PAM10102015 is the entry week.

You can find the challenge for the Outlawz Paper Ala Mode challenger here.

I also want to enter it into  the TTCRD challenge anything goes Here:

Snowman with a Tree Hat

Hey Everyone should I say early Merry Christmas or will you all hate me for that?  I cringe when anyone tells me how close it is already.  Well at least I am getting a little bit of a jump on my cards with all the challenges there are on here for Christmas cards.  This one is from Imagine That  digis's by Kris and it is just so cute.  I know my grand kids will like these cards.  Kris has done up a few new ones for Christmas this year and I hope you will hop over to the shop and get a few. Kris always gives you a line drawing and a colored image for those who don't color or don't like to color you can still have a great card.  You also get the sentiments to go with each set. She has released some wonderful new images lately so I hope you will go check them out.   Here is the address for the shop:
I chose a non traditional paper for this one as I wanted to tie in the blues I did on the hat and scarf.  I used some Christmas embellishments that I got as a RAK from a sweet lady named Frankie.    I stamped the sentiment on a piece of embossed paper with snow flakes on it.

I hope you have enjoyed my version of this image on my Christmas card and will come back again to see more of my creations.  Happy Crafting to you all.  Till next time.

Leesa's Dust Bunnies

Well here we are again.  If you played in my little giveaway and picked this image then you are correct.  I hope you all let me a way to get back to you for your blog candy if you won.

I fell in love with this image and decided to make it for my best friends craft room.  Hers is large and puts mine to shame but she has been crafting for about 20 years now.  If I make it that long I will have crafted my self out of my room if it grows as hers did.  This little plaque "well that is what I am calling it"  is 5x7 for the inside frame.  This is a light weight frame that  I bought over a year ago at Michael's on sale for .99 cents.  I never used any of the ones I purchased but decided that when I saw this image it was perfect for it.   I colored the image with copics and just lined the back with a piece of heavy white card stock.  I will hang by a ribbon (that is not on there yet)  The flowers I got from a RAK from Facebook.  The black cut outs are from my cricut and the butterfly is a new die from Spellbinders and I cut it from the aluminum on the top of coffee to keep it fresh.  The texture in that is fantastic and I love the way they turn out.  I did lots of butterflies and dragon flies and birds as well.  Who knows that could be part of the blog candy.  Once if decide who is the winner I will decide what I am gonna send you.  I love surprise RAK's don't you?  So let me check to see who is the winner on this image and I will get to you asap.

Thanks everyone for playing along with me.  Happy crafting to you all.

Red Nosed Reindeer

Hey there everyone.  Hope all is well with you today.  I made a Christmas card with this adorable reindeer.  This image is from Imagine That  digi's by Kris.  This is one of her new releases and the colored version of this set.  I like to show both the colored and lined version of her sets to show you what you can do with either one.  Tomorrow you will see a different set and one that I colored the lined image on.  I hope you will come back to see that one as well.  I used a circle die to cut this one out and the embellishments are from an RAK that I received recently.  I think they are adorable, and got lots of different ones to use.  Thank you Frankie, you know who you are.  The background Christmas paper was bought a few years ago and this is the last sheet that I have and thought it went well with the image.  You can find this set and many others for Christmas at the shop here:

I am inviting you to go check the shop out and see how cute her images are.  We have a progressive challenge each month and you can find all the details to that on the website.  It is fun and a great way to build your digital collection.  I have loads of wonderful digi's that I got that way.  So get a cup of coffee, tea or what ever you drink and go do some shopping.  My favorite thing to do.  So til tomorrow Happy Crafting.

Coffee Anyone?

Good after noon to you all.  I wanted to do a posting today since I haven't had one for a few days.  I have been working on making some note cards to set up as a gift for Christmas gifts and this is one of them.  They image and sentiment is one I got from My Whimsical little world on Facebook.  Paola is a very generous person to give out a freebie almost every  week and some times more often.  She is really talented and does some cute videos on how she colors hers as well.  I didn't follow hers exactly but did my own thing.  For one I didn't have the same colors copics that she used so hence a different look but that is fine with me.  I used some distress inks for the edges and copics to color the cup and the sentiment I used a glitter pen in gold.  The background is gold holographic paper and I did the inside as well.   Yes I am working on Christmas gifts already as it takes me time.  Plus I am doing my Christmas cards too.  Busy, busy, busy, that would be me at this time of year.  I have lots of ideas for different gifts and I just may go to the local flea market and see if I can sell some there too.

Well that is it for today I sure hope you like my card.

I think I am going to enter this into the anything goes challenge at TTCRD. Here:

Happy crafting to you all.  Have a wonderful day and a great rest of the week!!
